I have been passionate about photography for many years; I became interested in the medium in my early teens and realized that I wanted to pursue it professionally. In 2011, I entered Fitchburg State University's Communications Media program with a concentration in Photography. Over the course of my studies, I worked with 35 mm, medium format, and large format black and white film. Working with film has given me a new perspective in photography, and I believe that it has greatly enhanced my vision and skills in composing photos.

My interests in photography are mainly portraits and still life. I realized that I especially loved doing portraits when I began doing freelance work photographing seniors, children, and couples. I enjoy using natural light to my advantage, but I also have experience working with commercial studio lighting, as I spent a whole semester working in my school's studios.

During my last semester at Fitchburg State University, I interned at the Sentinel & Enterprise newspaper in Fitchburg as a photojournalist. This internship was a great experience for me; being able to shoot photos daily enormously enhanced my skills as a photographer in general, and made me so much more confident in my craft. In May 2015, I graduated with Cum Laude honors and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications Media with a concentration in Photography. Currently I am doing my own freelance portrait photography work, specializing in individuals, couples, children, families, and pets. I am a motivated and detail-oriented individual. I promise to offer my fresh eye and creativity to all of my clients!
